Femi founded Asset Harvest Group, LLC (AHG) in 2000, after more than a decade of working in the industry as a financial analyst and advisor. He is a contrarian thinker who does not subscribe to the often frustrating, underperforming conventional thinking of the financial services industry. Femi’s approach is founded upon uncommon sense, disciplined action, and a belief that generating income from a portfolio is the holy grail of financial planning. The key in Femi’s thinking is to help clients retire-wise with sustainable income, as well as portfolio growth, resulting in personal contentment in their lives.
Among the financial industry’s elite in terms of experience, education, and credentials, Femi’s broad expertise and industry know-how are rivaled only by his unwavering commitment to deliver superior client service. As an independent investment advisor, he does not recommend investments based on corporate mandates. Therefore, Femi’s clients view him as a trusted advisor.
Femi is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), the nation’s leading organization dedicated to the advancement of fee-only comprehensive financial planning. Because his mission is not to offer isolated advice, but ongoing counsel, Femi seeks to understand his clients on a deeper level than many advisors. Rather than boast about the number of assets under management, Femi emphasizes quality relationships and derives great satisfaction from helping each client meet their goals. Whether an investment portfolio is $1M or $100M, clients enjoy complete independence, broad and deep expertise, a wide array of innovative investment solutions, unparalleled service, and superior asset protection.
Femi has provided financial newsletters to the New England Patriots, Detroit Lions, and the Buffalo Bills on a variety of investment-related issues. He has been quoted in industry magazines, professional journals, and newspapers, including the Wall Street Journal. He earned a Master of Science in Finance in 1991 from Bentley University, Waltham, Massachusetts. He earned a Bachelor of Science (magna cum laude) in Accounting, Economics and Finance in 1987 from Roger Williams University, Bristol, Rhode Island.
Femi is an avid member of Red Sox Nation, enjoys dancing to Frank Sinatra music on Saturday nights with his wife Kathy and 3 children, and teaching and playing golf with friends and family.
